Let's get to it. Are you looking for a way to relieve muscle tension, improve flexibility, and enhance your performance? Obviously, I suggest you get acupuncture, but what can you do between your acupuncture sessions?! So many of my patients have tension in their necks and backs (and other areas like glutes/piriformis and calves or gastrocnemius) and need a tool to help out between their acupuncture sessions. This is that tool! I want you to try the Rollga™ Foam Roller, a revolutionary foam roller that contours to your body and targets specific muscles and pressure points. Keep reading, as you will soon love the Rollga™ Foam Roller as much as I do!
Unlike ordinary foam rollers that cause discomfort and pain, the Rollga has a unique shape that allows it to reach muscles and pressure points with greater precision and avoid bone structures. (Photo: no direct pressure on the spine, allowing superior targeting of paraspinal muscles)
What is the Rollga?
The Rollga™ foam roller is a patented, contoured foam roller that is designed to stabilize the hips, align the back, and increase range-of-motion. It is ideal for muscle recovery, fascial health, and functional restoration of movement. The Rollga helps you to avoid bone structures while foam rolling, this is key to effective rolling! The Rollga targets muscles not fully accessible with a flat foam roller because your bone structures get in the way.
The Rollga Foam Roller is made of high-quality EVA foam that is durable, eco-friendly, and easy to clean, while some other foam rollers are made of cheaper materials like polypropylene or cork that may wear out faster or be less comfortable. I've used mine for years.
Ask me, and I'll tell you the story of how my Rollga helped me recover the time I ate a Christmas cookie and suffered a subluxation of my rib. It's a good story!
Suits Different Needs
The Rollga foam roller comes in different shapes, densities, and sizes to suit different needs and preferences. And they come in fun colors! Some of the products available are:
The original Rollga Roller: This is the standard model that has a medium density and four curves that work in all planes of motion over time with 4-D technology™.
The Rollga Pro Roller (Extra Firm): This is a firmer version of the original model that provides more intense pressure for deeper tissue massage.
The Rollga Genesis Foam Roller: This is a softer version of the original model that provides more cushioning and comfort for sensitive areas. This is the version I have in the clinic for you to experience.
Rollga's Key Features:

All the Benefits of a Flat/Bumpy Roller But With More Specific Targeting
The Rollga foam roller has many benefits for health and fitness enthusiasts. Some of them are:
It increases flexibility by 22% (8% more than flat rollers), which can improve performance and prevent injuries.
It reduces muscle soreness by 6% or more, which can speed up recovery and enhance well-being.
It relieves back and neck pain by stabilizing the spine and releasing tension in the muscles, which can improve posture and quality of life.
Easy to Use
The Rollga foam roller is easy to use and comes with a user guide, an app, and online videos that show how to perform various exercises for different body parts. Two of the many exercises to try with your Rollga are:
The hip flexor release: This exercise targets the hip flexors, which are often tight from sitting or running. To perform this exercise, place one curve of the Rollga under your hip bone on one side, then lean forward slightly until you feel a gentle stretch. Hold for 30 seconds, then switch sides.
The upper back release: This exercise targets the upper back muscles, which are often tense from stress or poor posture. To perform this exercise, place the Rollga roller behind your back, just above the shoulder blades (your spine should be aligned with the center contour). Place your arms either supporting your head or extending out behind. Lift your hips off the ground slightly until you feel gentle pressure. Then use your legs to push and roll from your shoulders to the middle of your back, roughly at your last rib, then return up towards your shoulders. Roll slow; this is about deep breathing and slow controlled movements. Do not press and hold tight spots. Do not roll your lower back; your muscles will tighten up to protect your spine in this region.
