For 3 months, my life was consumed by acute neck pain caused by an impinged cervical nerve and constant muscle spasms. I lost weeks of sleep and work. I lost being me as I isolated myself in my home due to neck and radiating arm pain. I was desperate for relief as I tried multiple interventions to no avail.

The day I met Dr. Nicky, I was miserable, exhausted, and at an all-time low. She performed my first ever acupuncture treatment which immediately provided me comfort and the ability to function again. This therapy allowed me to obtain my first full night of sleep in 2.5 months without the use of pain medications.

Acupuncture increased the range of motion in my neck. I was able to drive, go to work, wash my hair, and participate in the recreational activities that I could not do while I suffered.

Acupuncture will forever be my first line of defense for future acute pain. It was a painless intervention that promoted an optimal result.
